Indirects – Procurement Category Lead

c£400-500 a day
Global organisation managing complex client requirements across the full range of Indirect spend categories. They are looking for additional depth of experience within key Indirect spend areas such as IT, Facilities, MRO, Professional Services, Capital Equipment etc to further develop Category Management tools and processes to deliver cost and service level initiatives.
The Role
Involves the operational and strategic management of key Indirect categories within a mostly UK supplier base, and involves the management of the category across a series of fragmented internal stakeholders.
While deep subject matter expertise within a category is well regarded the client is equally comfortable with a broad knowledge of strategic sourcing, developing category management tools and capable of influencing a range of stakeholder groups.
The role can be based out of numerous UK office locations
