Commercial Director
South West / M4 Corridor
£80 – 100,000 + Package + Bonus
This organisation is a National retailer with an exciting business growth strategy developed through its multi channel approach
They have recently restructured and identified the requirement for a Head of Commercial to support the Board level team and provide a more strategic overview to the operational teams to design and deliver the commercial road map for the medium to long term corporate vision.
Key Criteria
- Commercial leadership background – Buying or Trading Director or broader role
- Strategic consultancy across retail – UK and overseas regarded favourably combined with retail leadership roles
- Experience within a multi-channel retail environment
- Comfortable working strategically whilst still in a pragmatic business culture where engagement and visible leadership is essential regards influencing
- Strong e-commerce online shopping platform knowledge preferred
- Ability to operate at a senior leadership level and be able to bring about change in the commercial function performance through the introduction and use of metrics
- Knowledge and experience of building a multi-channel supply chain across the organisation
- Able to think and articulate strategically, demonstrating excellent numerical and analytical skills, particularly negotiating pricing, is essential for success
