Our client is well established, growing and ambitious. They manufacture a range of products that are sold worldwide via a series of brands, some of which they own as well as via a series of customer brands

Due to continued growth, and to meet plans for future growth, an opportunity exists for a Sales Account Manager to join the business with the remit of delivering increased sales through the development of existing e-commerce retail accounts, as well as through the identification and winning of new e-commerce retail opportunities.

In order to be successful you will be an experienced Sales Account Manager, adept at working with retailers in order to deliver increased sales for your product portfolio. You will also have a good knowledge of the online marketplace and how to engage e-commerce retailers and work with them to develop online strategies that deliver increased sales.

Role & Responsibilities include:

  • To develop and drive B2B sales through new initiatives for both existing and new e-commerce customers.
  • Generate B2B sales through the use and knowledge of IT skills to support customers to increase their sales, including building new ranges and pricing structures.
  • Work closely with a technical team based overseas to develop and execute strategy related to growth of e-commerce sales in the UK and Europe.
  • Be an internal source of information for UK based teams to advise on best practices and strategy to help better service and grow e-commerce sales across the retailer customer base.

Experience & Skills required:

  • Experience in B2B Retail Account Management essential
  • E-commerce Account Management experience an advantage
  • Knowledge of the E-commerce channel and how to grow sales through this channel via an understanding of Social Media strategies, SEO/PPC etc…
  • Flexibility to travel within UK and overseas from time to time
  • Good influencing/negotiating skills
  • Experience in the design/manufacturing industry desirable but not essential
  • Ability to drive initiatives to develop creative and functional ideas on ways to improve user experience
  • Understand process to write descriptive content for products, categories, and blogs targeted for a European audience
