Professional IFA practice who provide financial advice around pensions and retirement planning, savings and investments, inheritance tax planning, mortgages and auto enrolment are looking for a new member of the team to support them in the provision of first class financial planning to their long established local client bank.

Along with other support members you will provide support directly to the advisers. The team have been stable for some time and as such have good working relationships, the evironment is vibrant and lively.

Main day-to-day duties and responsibilities

The processing and chasing new business on behalf of 3 of the IFAs in a compliant and timely manner

The recording of the above on to the back office system and scanning the completed file to client record accurately

Sending letters or authority and speaking to insurance companies to request information on a variety of matters

Answering the phone, dealing with clients, making appointments for advisers in Outlook

Dealing with post

Obtaining client quotations from providers

Producing portfolio reports for the adviser to review client investments

Checking and issuing policy documentation.

Skills that the ideal candidate must have..

Experience working within an IFA practice, although no industry exams are necessary

Must have good interpersonal/commuication skills and excellent telephone manner

Must like working as part of a team and be able to manage own workload

Have a keen eye for detail

Mortgage experience would be an advantage

9-5 Monday to Friday

20 days holiday plus sick pay.

5% pension contribution
