Supply Chain Development Manager – FMCG

Client
A global FMCG manufacturing business with head office in the UK and annual turnover in excess of £600m.

Objective
Find a Supply Chain Development Manager to take control of the Sales & Operations Planning process across a number of manufacturing sites in one of the global regions. The candidate must be able to drive improvement in the S & OP process, and able to develop the Supply Chain capabilities to support business growth opportunities.

Method
Targeted Search combined with a Network Search through our existing network of candidates and contacts. The Search work was targeted around companies operating in similar sectors with operations on a multi-national basis.

Result
The Search work identified several candidates already carrying out similar roles. These were approached and one stood out who was very interested in the International aspect of the role. This candidate was interviewed and assessed by the client before being offered and accepting the role.
