Objective
The project was to succesfully deliver a project to install a new IT system and working practices into a rapidly growing division of the business. One of the difficulties was that the project had already got underway, so the person would have to have the ability to “hit the ground running” and establish credibility from day one.
Method
Because the project was expected to last only 6 months we needed to find a suitably qualified candidate who was immediately available. By contacting our network of known candidates we quickly identified a number of candidates with the right skill set. All of the candidates were interviewed by ourselves to estalish their experience and motivations in committing to a six month contract before we selected three for the final shortlist.
Result
After interviewing all three candidates the client appointed an individual who had previously undertaken a similar project for their previous company.
