The client was a privately owned rapidly growing property and building services company.
Following a period of rapid growth the Managing Director was looking to take on an individual who could take the lead role over Finance and IT as well a playing a major role in the broader general management of the company. The individual would need to possess the requisite financial and general management skills combined with the right personality fit to slot into the business and work successfully with the Managing Director.
The method we employed involved headhunting from companies in the sector, combined with approaching our network of known candidates who posessed the right qualities and would be interested in a role of this nature.
The result was a shortlist of six candidates was presented within three weeks of taking on the brief. From the shortlist, three of the candidates stood out as having the right personality fit with the Managing Director. The role was offered and accepted with a candidate that came from our network who fitted the brief exactly.
