Objective
Find a Procurement Professional to take control of all spend activities for all indirect goods and services within the Research & Development function across Europe. The candidate must have experience influencing at senior management level and will have previously developed category purchasing across a diverse spend totaling several hundred million pounds.
Method
Advertising & Selection method utilising a combination of the trade press and specialist internet sites. Capitalised on the client’s strong branding and the careful placing of the advertising to generate a strong targeted response.
Result
Narrowed the response to 8 possibles following initial screening then carried out a full interview screening against defined competencies to produce a shortlist of 3. Client carried out two interviews and further behavioural assessment before making a successful offer.
