US based global supplier of integrated systems and components with a turnover of $2 billion.

Objective
Due to an internal restructuring the organization wanted to create a new European Treasury function from scratch. Key to the role was finding not only someone with the requisite technical experience but someone who could build and lead a new team.

Method
Headhunted both Directors and Heads of Treasury in companies with similar characteristics that were based in the UK. All interested candidates underwent an initial pre-selection interview before a final shortlist of six candidates was presented.

Result
The process in total lasted eight weeks with all six candidates selected for interview; two were final interviewed and one successful candidate selected for the role.
